I remember when it was free texts and minutes of the key factors in choosing a phone contract? These days, we hardly even notice them, but we face a more modern dilemma when thinking about signing on the dotted line: how mobile data is enough? It is difficult to know the exact answer; such as free minutes that were lost each month, many of us pay more than the odds of the data we do not need.
Each case is different. The user can with free Wi-Fi at home or in the office consume much less than their mobile phone user who is the office. And the Bytemobile Citrix report found in October that the video streaming accounts for 50% of mobile traffic in the world - however, even a short commute can easily become the main data drain if you want entertaining.
Nha eye-opening numbers, so to back it up with our own data, we recorded a request on Twitter for those who would be willing to be our guinea pig. We asked them to install the application to monitor data on their smart phones, and track in the real world and use 3G Wi-Fi for a period of seven days. By chance, precisely 100 people volunteered to participate in full, and provide more than 50 estimated figures but not included in the data analysis, although we did not tow them to interesting insights.
This feature addresses the big question with a two-pronged approach. First, we have to choose applications that usually says drink up your data allowances, and see how hungry they really are.
